Targets and aims:
o discussion of the problem of reading in our country and abroad, enlargement of libraries' role in propaganda of books and literary culture, discussion of modern ways of attracting people to reading;
o development and discussion of national and regional programs of expansion of reading;
o publication and discussion of results of regional researches of reading;
o coordination of regional researches of reading, and collecting information, necessary for researchers.

RLA's round table on reading, British council, Non-commercial fund "Pushkin library" with the informational support of the newspaper "Book review" organize competition of projects of propaganda of books and literary culture "We and a book".
