Targets and aims:
1. Help in international cooperations between Russian libraries and IFLA, also with allied organizations.
2. Informing Russian specialists about IFLA's activity, it's professional structures, main programs, also about other organizations, whose activity is connected with IFLA's sphere of interests.
Directions of work:
- Preparing "News of Russian committee of IFLA".
- Forming groups of specialists for participating in IFLA's sessions.
- Permanent contacts with IFLA's Secretariat, sections, round tables etc.
- Publishing translations of the most interest reports of IFLA, in touch with mediator center of IFLA in All-Russian state library of foreign literature.
