Targets and aims:
- Support and development of national rules of cataloguing.
- Coordination of work of Russian organizations, connected with the development of methodical and normative documents in the sphere of cataloguing documents.
- Cooperation with Russian state and social organizations, also with foreign professional organizations with the aim of development of commom principles of cataloguing, which can provide compatibility of national and international bibliographical records.

Dear colleagues! Interregional committee for cataloguing of RLA has completed preparation of the first volume of electronic version of the new "RUSSIAN RULES OF CATALOGUINg". Main organizations, which develop rules under the supervision of ICC, are Russian state library, National library of Russia, Russian book board.
