Meeting of the Section of agricultural libraries took place on the 20th of may, 2004 in the Central scientific agricultural library of the Siberian Department of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences and in the House of Scientists of SD RAAS. 43 persons participated in the meetings, among them representatives of the Ministry of agriculture and Presidium of SD RAAS. Tendency of participation in RLA's work of libraries of scientific research institutes (SRI) and agricultural educational establishments, also of provincial universal scientific libraries from different regions of the country, ws concerned as positive. Orders of the Ministry of agriculture were brung to members' notice::
· About the usage of RUSMARK formats in agricultural libraries.
· About the organization of All-Russian library day.
· About the rewarding of librarians.
The desicions were made:
1. To concern "Statute about the system of interlibrary exchange and deliver of documents in the sphere of agricultural industrial complex of the Russian Federation", developed by CSAL SD RAS, as basic one.
2. To introduce the system of linguistic support, developed by CSAL SD RAS.
3. To create the system of continued education in marketing, taxation and legislative for director and accountants of libraries.
