THE EXHIBITION OF PUBLISHERS’ PRODUCE, NEW INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES, PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
The Russian Library Association invites publishers, book traders, institutions and companies concerned with the information activities, producers of goods and services mainly oriented for libraries, to take part in the exhibition to be held May 17-19, 2010 in Tomsk, Russia. Library top managers and experts from Russia and foreign countries are expected to attend this event. The Board of Russian library association announced the city of Tomsk library capital of Russia of 2010. The Exhibition is organized during All-Russian Library Congress: 15th Annual Library association. Main topic of the Conference is “Library and knowledge: challenge of the society today”
The Congress is supported by the Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation and the Administration of Tomsk Region.
The city of Tomsk is known for its educational and research centers. It was here that the first in Asiatic part of Russia University was founded. The Tomsk University is justly famous in the scientific world. Besides there are 9 other high educational institutions in the city, Students are 1/5 of the population of the city. There of students in the city population is one of the largest in Russia. In 2004 Tomsk celebrated 400 years anniversary. The participants of the Exhibition will have a chance to take part in the plenary sessions of All-Russian Congress: 15th Annual Conference of the Russian Library Association, in the meetings of its sections and round table discussions on the library issues of current importance, including the problems of library development and acquisition, their modernization and re-equipment. The participants will be given an opportunity to hold a presentation of their companies.

The terms of the participation in the Exhibition
1. Where and when:
Tomsk, A.S. Pushkin Tomsk Regional Library. 1, Baten’kova pereulok
May 17-19, 2010
Exhibition working hours: May 17-19, from 10.00 to 18.00 each day.
Stand assembling could be started on May 16, from 15.00 to 18.00, stand
disassembling - only after the Exhibition closing, that is at 18.00, May 19, 2010.
The official opening of the Exhibition is at 15.30-16.00, May 17.
May 18-19 – The Exhibition is open for the public at large.
2. Registration and terms of participation in the Exhibition:
An organization intending to take part in the Exhibition is supposed to send filled in forms to the address of the Organizing Committee:

Online registration on the site RLA www.rba.ru, the paper copy of application with sign and stamp is mandatory. For inclusion into the catalog the registration should be made not later than April 1st 2010
Registration fee paid by every participant on account only:
Participant 60 Euro No later than April 1, 2010 Accompanying person 40 Euro No later than April 1, 2010
Registered participants (full time) receive / fee includes:
• Name badge
• Final Programme and Exhibition Catalogue
• Congress Information package
• Admission to all sessions and all sections meetings (if registered)
• Admission to the Exhibition
• Admission to the opening and closing session
• Admission to the all social and cultural events (if registered)
• A professional visit to a library (if registered)
Participants who have paid the stand lease and the registration fee after April 19th 2010 in the conference registration in Tomsk should produce copy of corresponding paying order.
You can pay your participation in the Exhibition in Tomsk through bank of “Sberbank”. Persons who do not pay the fee shall not be permitted to participate in the exhibition. If the application is recalled after May 1st 2010 the fee will not be refunded. The application for the participation in the XI Exhibition is a contract whereby contracting parties accept the terms of participation in the Exhibition of publishers’ produce, new information technologies, products and services, held within the frames of All-Russian Congress: 15th Annual Conference of the Russian Library Association.
3. Exposition stands, equipment, services:
The Exhibition space is rented for the whole period of the Exhibition.
The location of stands is determined according to the time of receiving applications. The priority is given to those participants, who are among the first to apply. The participants are provided with stands, furniture and other equipment according to application paid. The equipment is supposed to be used after the agreement with the Organizing Committee of 15th RLA Annual Conference. Design of the stand will be made by participants themselves.
Out of working time the security of the exhibition pieces is ensured by the Security service of organizational committee of exhibition. The safety of displays during the work of exhibition will be provided by participants themselves.
Exhibition places which are not occupied to the moment of opening of the Exhibition are considered vacant and in disposal of organizational Committee the Conference. Fees in such cases not refunded.
